Equipment Training - Class Schedule
2012 GPS
GPS training is two parts. The first part is a half-day of machine system training in the classroom. After completing the classroom training, attendees can sign up for the full day machine operation with one-on-one training in the field. Training includes pond/slope, grading, road grading, full automatic machine control, etc.
We also offer GPS Rover Training for 49ers that have management, foreman, and/or lead positions. If you are not in one of those positions for the upcoming 2012 work season, do not sign up for this training! Rover training is a full day class that consists of one to two hours of classroom work followed by hands-on training in the field. Please dress accordingly! Hard hats, vests, and weather related clothing is mandatory. We will train on topo’s, grade/site checking, volume calculations, breakpoints, staking, etc.
