Two classes will be offered for this years’ training schedule.
Class 1) Intro to CTOT
This class is designed to create operator awareness of requirements to regulations pertaining to construction
equipment. These objectives are attained using interactive classroom discussion and powerpoint presentations.
Class 2) Permitting Over Dimension and Overweight
The purpose of this course is to update the construction industry about legal weight versus permitable weights.
At the end of this course you will be able to determine when permits are needed, type needed, and the various ways to obtain a permit.
Class 2) Load Securement
This course will give updated information on Minnesota and Federal laws regarding proper securement as well as examine various load securement devices and demonstrate how to
determine the number of devices and the varying methods of securement necessary for a given load.
These courses are recommended for construction truck drivers, equipment haulers, dispatchers, foremen and superintendents, and personnel responsible for trucks and drivers.
