This is a certification program which includes the Operator Qualifications (OQ) for both gas and liquids.
This class is offered the afternoon of the third day of the Stewardship training. Members will receive a certification through the International upon completion. Topics covered are: corrosion monitoring, protection during disturbance of segment support, inspection for damage, backfilling, undergound clearances, installation of plastic and steel pipe, service lines, mains and transmission lines, proetction when minimum cover is not met, and prevention of accidental ignition.
This certification is required every three years.
