This class is for members with a CDL permit. If you do not have a permit, you will need to take your permit test a a Minnesota DMV exam station before your classroom training. This class will prepare you for what you need to know to pass the road test. You should schedule your behind-the-wheel training. We do provide a truck and trailer for training and a road test. Once again, you will have to take the road test at a Minnesota DMV exam station. (We do NOT do hands-on testing at the Training Center.)
PLEASE register early as class size is limited to ten (10).
CDL training includes:
• Classroom preparation for the road test
• 4 hours behind-the-wheel training (not same day)
• One scheduled road test with the Minnesota DMV using our truck and trailer with 1 hour behind-the-wheel practice time immediately prior to the road test.
PLEASE NOTE: The classroom and behind-the-wheel portions, including the road test, are offered at no cost. However, if you fail the road test, there will be a $100 fee for each additional behind-the-wheel road test.
