Equipment Training - Class Schedule
2012 OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety & Health
This OSHA 10 Hour program is intended to provide instruction on construction industry safety and health topics and to introduce participants to the OSHA Construction Safety Standards.
After completion of this course, participants will be able to describe the Osha Safety and Health Training Act (OSHAct), locate and define terms within the OSHA regulation, identify the
common causes of accidents and fatalities in hazardous areas of
construction, and identify methods to correct hazards found in construction. Upon completing this 10-hour course, participants will receive credentials directly from OSHA. It would be
important to note that this safety & health training is a requirement to work on some projects and by many contractors
for any worker they employ. Under the terms of our agreement, all workers must possess an OSHA 10 completion
card. This training is usually one time but, for some employers and North Dakota, it is required every three years.
