New for the 2009-2010 training season is our three day Plan Reading class. It is an extension of the Grades and Stakes program. You must have completed the one week Grades and Stakes class prior to taking this class.
We will focus on basic plan reading including: layout of construction documents, page numbers, details, symbols, contour lines (what they are telling you), and scaling (engineers/architectural).
The plans covered in this class will be commercial, residential, underground pipe, road construction, and housing development.
Another element that will be covered is the specification book (spec book).
